Syria: What is the endgame? How does it affect Turkey? (Video by Atilla Yesilada)

The fall of Assad regime startled all nations and experts.  The country is no nominally under the control of formerly fundamentalist Hayat Tahrir al Sham, whose leader swears they have ditched the ideology and its practice.  Can he bring together Syria’s numerous ethnic and sectarian communities together for lasting peace.

Turkey played a major role in defending HTS in Idlib, as well as arming it.  Turkey also wants the Kurdish military-political entity PYD-YPG to be dismantled completely, which may disrupt the peace process.  Thus, the end game is highly uncertain.  Atilla Yesilada makes predictions about fate of Syria, claiming peace is not guaranteed, but in any scenario Turkey will be one of the winners.
