Sonar Research published the latest election survey on the vote rates of the parties. According to the survey, CHP is ahead of other parties by a large margin.
The survey was conducted in July in 24 provinces with a total of 3,271 respondents.
According to the results obtained by Sonar, the rate of voters who say “I will vote for CHP” is 23.1 percent, while the rate of those who say “I will vote for AK Party” is 18.9 percent.
Sözcü writer Aytunç Erkin shared the results of Sonar’s election survey in his column today.
The relevant part of Aytunç Erkin’s article is as follows:
“SONAR asked: Which political party would you vote for if there was a general election today (before the distribution of swing voters)? CHP 23.1 percent, AKP 18.9 percent, MHP 6.9 percent, DEM Party 6.7 percent, İYİ Party 3.7 percent, Zafer Patisi 3.5 percent, Yeniden Refah Partisi 3.2 percent, other 0.8 percent. 33.2 percent did not express an opinion (swing vote 15.1 percent, invalid vote 3.1 percent, not going to the polls 11.9 percent, no opinion 3.1 percent).
SONAR’s note here is as follows: “Although the rate of those who do not express an opinion decreased by 4 percentage points compared to June, it is still very high compared to the last 30 years. The results in which the sum of swing voters and those who do not express an opinion will fall below 27 per cent will give us more reliable information.”
So, what is the situation after the proportional distribution to those who did not express an opinion? The results are as follows:
CHP 34.7 percent, AKP 28.3 percent, MHP 10.4 percent, DEM Party 10.1 percent, İYİ Party 5.5 percent, Zafer Party 5.1 percent, Yeniden Refah Party 4.8 percent, other 1.1 percent.”
