Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu's company was seized upon the request of the prosecutor's office within the scope of the investigation launched against him today.
The statement made by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is as follows:
"Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office
in the investigation file numbered 2024/228233;
On 19/03/2025, in accordance with the MASAK reports obtained within the scope of the investigation, İMAMOĞLU İNŞAAT TİCARET VE SANAYİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, in which the suspect Ekrem İmamoğlu is a partner, was seized by the decision of the criminal judge of peace upon the request of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office."
