Video Commentary: Upheaval in Turkey: Are Erdogan’s days numbered?

Turkey  erupted in unprecdently large protests after Erdogna ordered the judicary to arrest CHP Istanbul mayoar Imamoglu.  In addition to mass protests, the main opposition party is inventing creative tricks like national boycotts, and blacklisting pro-AKP businesses.  The tensions between Erdogan and the main opposition party CHP will get worse over time.  Erdogan has several advantages in this battle of wills, which will erode over time, as next elections approach. Rumors of the Erdogan regime being on its way have no empirical support at this juncture.  But, DEM and MHP abandoning Erdogan can  tilt the balance towards CHP.       [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ia_KCIM06GA&t=55s[/embed]
