It is that time again, when everyone and their aunt must roll out their 2025 forecasts. Real Turkey Channel starts this ardous task by predicting the course of the Turkish Lira.

 

Thanks to Central Bank’s devoted committment to a strong exchange rate, dolar/TL will appreciate significantly less than the projected inflation.  The real valuation of TL ought to draw interest from international financial investors in all Turkish assets. But, can Central Bank really defend the TL?
