Ozlem Derici Şengul started her career in Globalsource Partners Turkey as Assistant Economist, then continued in Erste Securities Istanbul, Ata Invest and Deniz Investment as Chief Economist. She now works in her own venture, Spinn Training and Consulting, providing macroeconomic consultancy and training services to corporate sector and NGOs. Şengül is also a professional commentator in all national economy channels and she is a permanent guest on BloombergHT TV channel's Küresel Piyasalar show live on 22:00 on every Tuesday. Additionally, Sengul works as the Research Director of Istanbul Bilgi University Center for Financial Studies (CEFIS) while she also teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at Bilgi University. Özlem Derici Şengül graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University Department of Economics with a scholarship, and has a master's degree in Financial Economics from the same university.
