National Science Committee member Prof Akin told columnist Muharrem Sarikaya that “If we go with daily cases between 1100-1400,, September and October also be problematic. “I was hoping we would see the 500-600 level at the end of May, but now I’m anxious”, said the renown medical authority about the progress of the Covid 19 outbreak in Turkey.

Akın said, “There is no special medicine for this disease, still no vaccine. The drugs I have are also effective in mild cases or retarding the advance of the disease. It challenges us in severe cases. There may also be a problem with a person’s immune reserves in life. The 80-year-old can be discharged because his defense reserve is good. This epidemic is not over. The society should act by seeing that this epidemic is not over. ”
In his article, Sarikaya said, “It is also possible that train and bus travel can be made by taking some precautions. He said that leaving the seat spaces empty, two rows of seats for people who may be disadvantaged immediately in the direction of departure, measures such as the use of masks will not cause problems in travel.
