House Price Index Rises by 2.8% in February 2025, Real Decline Continues

According to the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), the House Price Index (HPI) increased by 2.8% in February 2025 compared to the previous month, reaching 170.5. However, despite a 31.3% nominal increase from the same month last year, the index recorded a 5.6% decline in real terms.

Regional data showed that house prices in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir rose by 2.6%, 3.3%, and 3.8%, respectively, on a monthly basis. Year-on-year, house price indices climbed 28.4% in Istanbul, 37.2% in Ankara, and 32.7% in Izmir.
