Istanbul’s inflation figures for July were announced.According to Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) data, Istanbul’s inflation increased by 4.21 percent on a monthly basis in July. The Istanbul Wage Earners Livelihood Index, an indicator of retail price movements, rose 4.21 percent compared to the previous month.
The Wholesale Price Index, which reflects wholesale price movements, increased by 1.04 percent. Retail prices in Istanbul rose by 72.80 percent year-on-year, while wholesale prices rose by 55.12 percent.
