Latest poll shows! Increase in CHP with the change of leadership… Bleeding continues in the IYI Party

BUPAR Research President Erdal Akaltun stated that according to the survey they conducted for the local elections, the IYI Party’s vote rate has dropped to half of its May election level.
In the same survey, Akaltun stated that the CHP showed an increase with the change of leadership while the AKP’s vote rate is around 33 percent.

Speaking to TELE1, Akaltun shared the results based on a survey conducted with 3,500 people in 10 provinces. Akaltun said the AKP’s share of the vote in 2018 was 42.6 percent, but in 2023, it dropped to 35.6 percent. According to the survey, the AKP’s vote share will be around 33 percent.

 

Referring to the change in the CHP’s vote rate, Akaltun stated that the CHP’s vote rate increased from 22.6 percent to 25 percent and reached 27 percent with the change of leadership from Kilicdaroglu to Ozel.

Emphasizing the IYI Party’s decline, Akaltun stated that the IYI Party has lost about a quarter of its voters and that as an opposition party they believe that the IYI Party can still at best half of its vote rate back in May 2023.

Akaltun stated that the MHP electorate is more stable and that the MHP has no expectation of local power and that they will decide according to the candidates. He also stated that the Zafer Party and the Memleket Party were considering supporting the CHP and that a large portion of the memleket Party voters would support the CHP.
