Turkish consumer confidence rises to four month high

Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced the consumer confidence index for September. Accordingly, the consumer confidence index increased by 2.4 percent in September and reached 78.2, the highest level since May.

Household financial situation and expectations improved

According to the data, while the index of the financial situation of the household in the current period was 63.1 last month, it increased by 2.8 percent to 64.8 in September.

The index of expectations for the financial situation of the household in the next 12 months, which was 76.6 in August, increased by 1 percent to 77.4 this month. This increase indicates that consumers expect an improvement in their financial situation in the coming months.
